We tried to walk to the Mayan medicine museum after school yesterday. Our map made it look closer than it was. Instead Jill wanted to take a nap. We relaxed for a while then did our Spanish homework. It was easy, forming some verbs. Then we went to the Argentinian restaurant for supper. It is a much more fancy place than we anticipated. Argentina is famous for beef. They have a pan with raw meat on it for you to pick from. I just ordered one from the menu. Jill got some fish. My meat came with french fries and a salad. The meat was cooked perfectly and delicious. It was a medallion cut so twice as thick and less surface area. There was a 1 kilo steak for 61 US dollars.
Jill’s fish was double layered in tin foil and came with vegetables and rice. She said it was the best meal she has had in Mexico.
After that we walked to a bar called 1528 and watched some old Latin pop music videos. The dancing was wonderful. All styles of the 1980s were highlighted as well. Today is another school day and we will go find a museum or park afterwards.
How long are you going to school??
