I went and caught a cold. I haven’t been doing a lot other than drinking a lot of water. We ate at a French Crepe restaurant that Jill fell in love with. I guess that was Valentine’s Day and the day before. Today we dropped off a load of laundry and went for a walk. We’ve been trying to figure out a route for our travels and the plan keeps evolving. Now it looks like we will get to Cartagena, Colombia for the end of the month. We will run around Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador for a few months then return to Central America in June and make our way back to Cancun to fly to MSP in July. That all could change after a little while though. We are leaving Antigua on Tuesday and going to the beach in El Salvador, we are pretty sure of that. Farewell for now.
Feel better soon! It was wonderful to talk to you and Jill. Miss you guys lots. I hope time goes fast until July. And how do you not have to “do” laundry yourselves?
Laundry service is a normal thing south of the border so are small prices. It would be harder to insist on doing ourselves.
I just bought tickets to Columbia for March, so I guess we know we’ll be in South America from March-June. It feels strange to know that we have something so structured on our itinerary.
