We leave here tomorrow, Medellin is a nice town. We haven’t done a lot. We ate at some restaurants. Mostly cheap and good vegetarian restaurants. In most of the places we’ve been vegetarian places have the best food. Someone who starts a vegetarian or vegan restaurant does so because they’ve got really good food to share with people. Medellin has twelve vegetarian restaurants that we know of. We tried three or four.
We’ve been riding the train around which is excellent. We rode the cable car up the hill and down today. We went to malls. We hunted around for a new camera. We found the Fernando Botero sculpture garden.
Medellin isn’t really a tourist destination. I think travelers who can work anywhere come here because it is cheap and and easy place to live. I think I need a beach. Tomorrow we fly back to Bogota and the next day on to Lima. Lima has food and beaches.
