Here we are in Boun Ma Thuot. We rolled in at noon or so. We stopped at a gift shop then went to the grocery. Coy and I ate at KFC. Yes they have one here. The last time I ate some KFC was in Virginia. I devoured a bucket with Rob and Leah over the kitchen sink after the beach. That was fun. Today, it was good too. Jill only had a loaf of bread though. Later we found the market and some fruit. The market is full of bad smells and a few good smells and flies. Jill found a cantaloupe that we are going to eat later. After the market Jill had her phone call which went well. Then we found a vegetarian restaurant for supper. It was outside the Buddhist temple. They are usually outside temples. The food is good but relies heavily on fake meat. All have similar menus. Actually, all Vietnamese restaurants have similar menus. This place had good noodles and a lot of vegetables. I’m feeling satisfied. I think we will stay here another day. There is an ethnographic museum I’d like to see.
This is an old French colonial church ruin we stopped at on the road.
